Power Powder has a pH of 8.0 to 8.5, but it works as a low pH product. The formula contains acceleration elements that produce extremely active chemical reactions when water is added to the equation. The range of pH is because Power Powder will react to your local water situation, and change pH, ever so slightly, based on local water conditions.

Power Powder is safe for use on all fabrics, and is extremely active toward added coloring agents in fabrics, such as rust, plant spots, etc. Contains color brightening, agents that are a result of it's component parts, and NOT because of the addition of artificial color brighteners.

Power Powder is a cleaning-rinsing agent that is non-residual, non-allergenic, and attacks both oil based and protein based soiling.

We call it a rinsifier to indicate it's unique position in the cleaning cycle. We believe that the use of total acid rinses is counter-productive to your cleaning effort. Why? Because total acid rinses immediately and completely STOP the "cleaning" action. You are, at this point in the cycle, ready to remove suspended soils and residual soiling. Pure acid rinses will stop the cleaning action of your cleaning chemicals right at the critical removal time of the suspended soil load. Power Powder has the ability to complete the soil removal process without inhibiting the cleaning action AND then leave the fabric in an acid rinse state. Superior Cleaning Action. Mixes well in any water temperature, but hot water is better.
